Matthew McKenzie is a carer activist, poet and author based in London. As a carer of over 20 years, caring for someone suffering mental health problems, he has a huge amount of lived experience. Matthew has written the following books “A Caring Mind”, “Experiences of Mental Health unpaid caring” and “The Poetry book of mental health caring”.
Matthew runs a regularly updated youtube channel focusing on the challenges and plight of Unpaid carers.
