About me

I've worked for 25 years in the Health and Social care sector in various roles including; residential care, as a healthcare assistant in a GP surgery, a rehabilitation assistant in the community for a hospital discharge team and I also spent nine years working as a discharge coordinator at West Middlesex hospital. For the last ten years I have worked in the community for three different charities, Integrated Neurological Services where I was a senior care navigator, Carers Trust Thames as a Service Manager delivering respite services in Hounslow and Hillingdon and managing a carers hub in Ealing and most recently for H4ALL where I developed a project called Compassionate Hillingdon, connecting lonely and isolated people together in their community. I really enjoy working with and helping people. Seeing the difference this can make to people’s lives is so rewarding. It’s great to be back working in Ealing as part of this new service.

My other passions are my family and friends, animals and Chelsea Football Club. When I am not working, my perfect day would be going for a long walk with my rescue dog Oscar followed by watching Chelsea FC with family/ friends., perfect!

I enjoy supportive and creative roles where I can bring new ideas and a listening ear to someone’s life. My most recent experience was working for the NHS where I was a Peer Coach, supporting people with mental health challenges in 1:1 and group settings in collaboration with doctors and other health professionals. I am also a professional musician and photographer and enjoy freelance creative work when not working for Ealing Carers Partnership (ECP).

When I am not working I enjoy exploring the galleries and historical buildings that London has to offer and reading. I look forward to meeting you.

Nurita

I have worked in the voluntary sector for over 15 years in various roles such as an outreach worker and floating support worker.

My working background has always been supporting people to feel listened to, so that they feel empowered to make their own choices. I am looking forward to working with the team at Ealing Carers Partnership to deliver a new service where unpaid carers are supported to access the best service for them.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Karina

I have over 25 years' experience within the Health and Social

Care field, as I have always enjoyed working with people. I have worked for Social Services in different roles and also spent many years within the Charity Sector. I enjoy working for services that are person-centred, where positive impacts are created in people's lives. I have previously worked with Carers in a post-caring capacity, having seen the importance of intervention and support for Carers. So, I am very excited about this newly created role within the Ealing Borough and I can't wait to meet the many Carers in Ealing, and will enjoy working with you all.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, wild swimming and reading. I am also a keen academic researcher and very engaged in my local community, volunteering my time to various local projects and ventures.
